Michael Fortna was brought up the old fashioned way. At the age of 13 he started working for a dairy farmer in his hometown of Annville, Pa. Through this and attending auctions on the farm, he made it his goal early in life to become one of the best auctioneers in the country today! Mr. Fortna has won many State and National awards for his auction skills and marketing expertise.

Michael started his auction company in the Annville area and has grown into the Lebanon and Dauphin Counties. He also owned and operated Ken Geyer Auction Co. located in the Philadelphia area. Who’s specialty is auctioning multi-million dollar Bucks County properties. Mr. Fortna is one of the few CAI auctioneers in the area. This is the highest level of education attainable by an auctioneers. Fortna Auctioneers are also fully licensed and bonded.

Mr. Fortna has truly given back to the community by offering his services to non profit organizations such as: Relay for Life, American Cancer Society, Children’s Miracle Network, and the Whitaker Center of Art & Science. He is a member of the State and National Auctioneers Associations. And is also active in his local Masonic Lodge and Rotary Clubs.

Please allow me to introduce myself as your representative for Fortna Auctioneers for the Berks and Schuylkill County areas. William Bering, Jr.

William Bering Jr. is a Pennsylvania Auctioneer and a graduate of the Worldwide College of Auctioneering as well as a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Science.

As an auctioneer, William deals with all aspects of auction logistics with emphasis on marketing and technology.  William is experienced, qualified and aggressive when it comes to clients and selling their real estate.

Robert D. Bering

Robert is a Pennsylvania Auctioneer, who joined the Fortna team in June of 2006.  He is a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa, and completed the necessary classes to become a certified bi-lingual auctioneer. Additionally, Robert is a graduate from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Finance with a focus on Real Estate. 

At our offices, Robert handles all levels of auction analysis, with an emphasis on business strategy and is willing to help our clients with top quality service.

Kim Wentz

Kim Wentz has been contributing her 20 years of marketing and sales expertise to the Fortna Auctioneers team since April, 2006, producing award winning brochures.
