Hunlock Creek is a quiet, rural unincorporated community in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, located within Hunlock Township along the Susquehanna River and U.S. Route 11. Known for its scenic, hilly landscape, the area offers a relaxed, nature-focused lifestyle with nearby access to hiking trails like the Susquehanna Warrior Trail and Moon Lake Recreation Area. 

Geography: Situated 3.2 miles west of Nanticoke, the community features a mix of farmland, forests, and residential areas. It is characterized by rough, hilly terrain, including parts of Shickshinny Mountain.
Outdoor Recreation: The area is popular for fishing, boating on the Susquehanna River, and hiking at locations like Moon Lake Park and the surrounding, heavily forested hills.
Location/Township: The village falls under the jurisdiction of Hunlock Township, a municipality of roughly 2,100 residents.
Nearby Places: The community is near Shickshinny and Harvey's Lake.
History: The area once featured the Hunlock Creek Train Station (part of the DL&W Railroad) and was near the former Croop's Glen Amusement Park. 

Terms - A deposit of 10% will be collected at the conclusion of the auction with the balance due in 45 days. There is a 10% buyer premium that will be added to the high bid price and become part of the purchase price. The buyer is responsible for the 2% PA real estate transfer tax.

Property is sold in as-is condition with no warranties or guarantees of any kind.

For Online Bidders - In order to be a qualified bidder online, a $10,000 deposit must be submitted to Fortna Auctioneers and held in escrow 48 hours prior to the auction. If the online bidder is the successful bidder at the auction, the remaining 10% deposit must be wired into the Fortna Auctioneers escrow account within 24 hours from the auction date and will sign the agreement of sale electronically immediately  after the auction. If the online buyer is the unsuccessful bidder at the auction, the $10,000 deposit will be immediately returned.
